Creve Coeur Animal Hospital is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable team member to join our six‑doctor practice. We treat dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and pocket pets, and pride ourselves on providing excellent veterinary care in a supportive, team‑focused environment. We are currently looking for a Kennel Assistant to help us continue delivering the highest level of care to our patients and boarding animals. This role is essential in making sure every animal is safe, healthy, and loved while in our care.

The Role
As a Kennel Assistant, You Will
  • Observe animals’ appearance and behavior to monitor their well‑being.
  • Clean and disinfect boarding areas regularly.
  • Prepare and provide food, water, and medications as directed.
  • Walk boarded dogs several times per day.
  • Patrol hospital grounds and keep areas tidy by picking up waste.
  • Bathe and dry animals as needed.
  • Work independently and manage tasks responsibly, while also contributing to the team’s success.
  • Assist other hospital areas when needed. Most importantly, provide gentle, loving care to all patients.

Strong customer service skills—especially on the phone and in person—are also important, as you’ll be part of the client experience.

Experience in animal care is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and a passion for pets.
