BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join their team!

Schedule: This role will work from 2pm to 12am (Midnight). Flexibility on days is required.

The Kennel Assistant attends to the basic needs of hospital patients and maintains the cleanliness of the hospital facility, equipment, and tools. Responsibilities may include assisting with basic patient care, such as the safe restraint of patients during treatment.

As a Kennel Assistant, you will:

1. Observe patients for signs of health concerns and report findings to senior staff.
2. Clean and disinfect hospital areas regularly to maintain high standards of care.
3. Prepare patient meals, clean cages and bedding, and maintain litter boxes.
4. Safely approach and restrain cooperative patients during treatments.
5. Provide routine attention to patients, including walking dogs.
6. Maintain hospital equipment and tools in good condition.
7. Record patient voids and report findings to senior Veterinary Staff.
8. Manage laundry, including removing soiled items and stocking clean laundry.
9. Patrol the facility to ensure cleanliness and safety.
