Description: Automotive Line Technicians / Mechanics of all skill levels needed. Some advantages to working with Kendall Ford of Eugene are:
Work includes inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work needed on various vehicles. Performing adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts. Using independent judgment to make decisions, documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road testing vehicles to ensure quality and issue resolution.
Indoor shop environment. Use of mechanic's hand and power tools that produce vibration and force. Standing and walking throughout the shift. Frequent pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling. Occasionally lifting, pushing, and pulling weights from 20 to 100 pounds.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have at least two years of mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop. ASE certifications are required. Must be able to operate a variety of vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissions. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are also required.
