KenCrest is seeking Pre-K Teachers to support our Star 4 Early Childhood Programs throughout Philadelphia, PA (seven locations available throughout the city!).

As a Pre-K Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children by planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, providing individualized support and guidance to students, communicate regularly with parents and guardians, participate in professional development opportunities, and collaborate with other teachers to create a cohesive and effective educational program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • State certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education
  • Previous experience working with pre-kindergarten students is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians
  • Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes
