Pre-K Associate Teacher

Full Time, Monday through Friday

Standard school hours with additional before and after care hours available

KenCrest is seeking Early Childhood Associate Teachers to support our Star 4 Early Childhood Programs throughout Philadelphia, PA (seven locations available throughout the city!).

As an Associate Teacher, you will provide high-quality early care and education for preschool children.You will implement daily routines and lesson plans, as well as provide safe supervision and transitions throughout the school day within the school environment.You will take daily observations of children, lead small groups, and communicate effectively with parents and co-workers. You will complete paperwork as required for reporting purposes.

General Requirements:

  • Education (must have one of the following completed)
    • Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, preferred
    • Child Development Associate (CDA) certification
    • 30 completed college credits (including 12 Early Childhood Education credits)
  • Clear criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

*Spanish reading, writing, and speaking skills are a plus!*
