Position Details

Full-time, Monday through Friday, hours from 7AM to 6PM.

We are seeking Infant and Toddler (Early Head Start) Teachers to support our Star 4 Early Childhood Programs at three Philadelphia locations (Adams, North, and West). The program in Adams is the only site offering EHS.

As a teacher, you will:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Provide individualized support and guidance
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Participate in professional development
• Collaborate with colleagues to create an effective educational program

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in early childhood education or related field
• 9 credits or 3 classes including infant-toddler care
• Infant-Toddler CDA
• Preferred: previous experience with infants and toddlers
• Strong knowledge of child development principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment
• Patience, flexibility, passion for working with young children
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and parents
