Infor is looking for a Kelsey's Host in Temecula, California, who will provide a warm greeting for guests, manage reservations, and handle cash operations. This role is key in starting the dining experience and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Successful candidates will possess a high school education, have a professional demeanor, and be able to work under stress while providing excellent customer service. The position requires fluency in English and a willingness to work flexible hours.
The Kelsey’s Host provides a warm greeting for guests, circulates the room while seating guests and accommodates the initial interaction between guests and the service team. The Kelsey’s Host should permeate a welcoming persona to each guest walking by or into the restaurant. Their purpose is to start the dining experience from the moment the guest arrives. The Kelsey’s Host is the first and last impression of the venue to guests. The Kelsey’s Host controls the pace at which a restaurant fills and can affect the fluidity of an entire shift and is responsible for correctly handling cash, credit, and comp procedures, as well as properly completing paperwork and providing guest service.
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino.
Accountability: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience/Training: A high school education or equivalent and at least one-year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred to successfully perform this job.
Communication Skills: This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or Team Members of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: This position requires the ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. This position also requires the ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
