Job summary

The MDI Practice supports organizations in the development, production, operations and sustainment of aerospace and defense platforms. Working alongside a dedicated and diverse set of people, you will work alongside our clients to define and implement strategies that will deliver both short-term results and longer-term competitiveness in this ever-changing market environment. Through unique hands‑on experiences, you will broaden your knowledge across a breadth of topics while developing relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm. Who You Are

In addition, we look for individuals with the following experience or qualities:

  • MBA degree preferred with 5-10 years of professional experience. Other relevant advanced degrees will also be considered.
  • Experience working as a Management Consultant strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in or alongside clients in the following industries:
    • Aerospace & Defense
    • Aviation
    • Mobility
    • Advanced Industrials
  • Functional expertise in manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Active clearance is a plus
  • Be located near or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C., or Toronto.
  • English fluency
  • Candidates must reside within a reasonable commutable distance of one of the following Kearney office locations: New York, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., or Detroit.
  • This role requires approximately 50–80% travel, based on client and business needs.

Associate Base Salary (post MBA) - $188,000 - $194,000: Candidates without an MBA will also be considered for the role. Such candidates will be eligible for a base salary of $157,000. Under exceptional circumstances, candidates without an MBA may be considered for a base salary of $188,000. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
