Job summary

Orthodox Union is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the Kashrus Finance team in a hybrid role. You will process field reimbursements, inspections payments, and customer billing while maintaining precise records. This position supports internal and external stakeholders and requires strong analytical skills and accuracy.

The role is full-time, with 3 days in-office in Lower Manhattan and 2 days remote per week, offering health coverage, a 403(b) plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review and process expense reports from field representatives for accuracy and policy compliance; allocate to correct accounts.
