Job summary

Rapport International in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation with local clients. This is an independent contractor, PRN role with flexible hours designed to align with client needs and the interpreter's availability.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual and able to interpret in-person for medical settings.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance.
• In-person interpreters only; transportation to attend local appointments is required.
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal, including printing and uploading vouchers.
• Must have access to a printer.
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
• Background checks and drug screens required.
• Schedule is PRN, part-time or less depending on languages spoken; some availability M–F 7AM–5PM is typical.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for Lincoln-area clients.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule appointments and ensure coverage.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Print and upload vouchers as part of processing.
• Possess or obtain necessary certification or experience in interpretation.

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. Requirements

• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.

Please note, this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken and client needs.
