Job summary

KARDENT Architecture, a Long Beach, CA firm, is seeking a Job Captain to lead architectural projects on-site. You will meet with clients, develop design solutions, and coordinate with consultants and contractors to deliver documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration and project leadership. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture and 10+ years of experience in commercial/healthcare office environments, plus proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in commercial office / medical / healthcare office improvements.
• Knowledge of Building & Fire codes and Accessibility.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and clients.
• Surveying existing buildings and tenant spaces.
• Experience in developing Construction Documents and Details.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• City Plan Check processing experience, DSA submittal experience a plus!

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for handling Architecture projects at KARDENT. As a Job Captain you will be responsible for meeting with clients, executing design solutions, preparing project documentation, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and managing projects. As a Job Captain you will also collaborate with our internal design team and developing design details.
