Preferred candidates hold a karate black belt, CPR/First Aid certification, and relevant martial arts certifications, with prior teaching experience in martial arts disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare curriculum and progression plans to support long-term skill development.
• Set up, greet participants, provide clear directions for class and clean up after class.
• Educate participants on proper and safe karate form.
• Enforce policies and procedures in activity areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after each class.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility space and equipment; report issues beyond personal capability.
• Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and prepared to teach.
• Maintain attendance records and submit rosters to supervisor.
