Job summary

The Enterprise Family YMCA is seeking a dedicated Karate Instructor to join our team. You will teach karate classes to participants of various ages, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and self-confidence in a supportive environment.

Plan engaging lessons, monitor progress, and maintain equipment while upholding the YMCA’s values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Karate Instructor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of karate techniques, forms, and training methods.
• Ability to teach and motivate students of all ages and skill levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and instruct karate classes for children, teens, and adults.
• Develop lesson plans that accommodate different skill levels and age groups.
