Job summary

Synechron Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong API automation testing expertise, particularly with the Karate framework, and a solid QA principles background.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Automation Testing, with a focus on API testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using Karate framework.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to translate requirements into test cases and scripts.
Execute API tests to validate functionality, performance, security, and compliance.
Develop and run end-to-end automation test suites for high-quality releases.
Identify, document, and track defects with reproducible steps and work with the team for resolution.
Integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency.
Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and QA meetings.
Stay updated with banking/financial services testing trends and tools.
