Job summary

Miller Pipeline is hiring Sewer Locators to inspect, locate, and map sanitary and storm sewer systems using robotic CCTV equipment. The role requires lifting, data entry, and operating CMV vehicles, with regional travel and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to obtain a DOT physical. On-the-job training and deployment across project sites are provided.

Qualifications

• Professional or personal use of computers and electronics.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Clean driving record and a DOT physical or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV), and travel regionally and respond to emergency situations.

Miller Pipeline is hiring Sewer Locators. Duties include using robotic CCTV camera equipment to inspect, locate, and map sanitary and storm sewer systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Properly lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
• Data entry on PC video recording software.
• Regular maintenance of mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Use receiver to accurately locate sewer mains and laterals.
• Legibly draw sewer map of construction area.
• Communicate with city utility departments.
• Transfer data between rig and central servers.
• Drive pickup truck/trailer or full-sized van classified as a CMV.
• Set up and maintain safe job site and safe work practices.
• Compress soil and asphalt.
• Shovel material, soil and cold patch asphalt mix.
• Operate vehicles used for hauling.
• Assist in the demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
• Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
• Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional or personal use of computers and electronics.

Preferred Qualifications:
