Job summary

ABB is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Portland, TN facility. You will lead daily material movement, staging on tugger carts, and coordinate with tugger drivers to keep Kanban flow smooth.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of related warehouse experience. You will ensure inventory accuracy, safety, and timely loading/unloading of materials.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and written communication skills required.
• Experience in warehouse or logistics is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Pick raw and WIP materials and stage them on tugger carts for tugger drivers.
• Deliver raw materials to tugger stands and point of use per defined routes and Kanban cards.
• Pickup unneeded excess material from workstations and return to designated location.
• Pickup finished goods and WIP materials and return empty tugger carts to work stations as needed.
• Return materials to designated locations when pulled back to warehouse by drivers and receiving.
• Ensure materials are in designated locations at all times.
• Dispose of waste generated in the warehouse and plant.
• Cycle count materials as directed by Inventory Control Specialist.
• Check inventory levels at shift start and alert inventory control of potential stockouts.
• Assist with tugger routes, finished goods scanning, loading trailers, and unlocking silos as needed.
• Accurately scan WIP and finished goods per pull sheets and load/unload trucks.
