Job summary

ABB is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead distribution teams, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. The role involves hands-on floor leadership, process audits, and daily performance tracking to optimize operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a fast-paced distribution setting with leadership experience and familiarity with warehouse systems. Flexibility for different shifts and overtime is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in a fast-paced distribution environment with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Leadership experience and WMS knowledge preferred.
Proficient in basic computer skills and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

Lead communicates and direct distribution associates through daily activities focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.
Perform process audits to ensure compliance to documented procedures.
Hands-on participation requiring high level of floor presence to direct the flow of daily activities and the timely movement of associates to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness throughout the operation.
Capture daily performance activity for determining effective methods to increase performance.
Monitor system and communication with internal/external customers to ensure work is being completed timely.
Attend and assist with Pre-Shift meetings to share information, discuss safety, quality, daily plans, and staffing needs.
Provide feedback and input to supervisor regarding associate's performance, behavior, and attendance.
Follow all safety guidelines and always use appropriate PPE.
Other duties as requested by management.
