Job summary

Adventist Health Castle in Kailua, Hawaii is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. This part-time Staff position offers the opportunity to work in a welcoming setting and contribute to patient-centered rehabilitation.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, delivering therapy, documenting progress, and supervising assistants. Hawaii OT licensure, NBCOT, and CPR/BLS are required; start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) is required; foreign equivalents considered.
• Two years of occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Hawaii OT licensure is required.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• CPR or BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes evaluations to assess and address functional abilities and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides therapy interventions using approved protocols and communicates discharge plans to the patient and care team.
• Completes comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
