K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel is seeking a Dynamic General Manager to lead operations, people, and performance at the highest level. You will oversee all departments, drive revenue, and maintain 5-Star service while building partnerships in the local pet care community.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of management experience in pet care, hospitality, or similar industries.
• Proven leadership in high-volume, service-driven environments.
• Strong business acumen including P&L, labor, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and resort team members.
• Own full-cycle talent management: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance.
• Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture.
• Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments.
• Ensure excellence in cleanliness, safety, and pet care standards.
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor efficiency.
• Maintain facility standards, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
• Set and uphold 5-Star service expectations across all interactions.
• Drive revenue through service offerings, client retention, and enrollment growth.
• Personally resolve high-level customer concerns.
• Monitor feedback and continuously improve the guest experience.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador in the local community.
• Build partnerships with veterinarians, groomers, and pet-related businesses.
• Lead marketing initiatives to drive awareness and growth.
• Own P&L performance and profitability.
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to drive results.
• Manage expenses, payroll, and budgeting.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Development

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on growth and results
• Valid driver’s license
