Job summary

Special Event Management (SEM) is hiring a Lift Equipment Operator in Las Vegas to support load-in, event, and strike operations for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. You will operate forklift and scissor lift equipment to move furniture and large items during setup and teardown on site.

The role requires valid certification and prior lift equipment experience, with potential travel to Mexico City for priority load-in duties; SEM covers flight and lodging for that assignment where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current, valid forklift and/or aerial lift operator certification.
• Experience operating lift equipment in an event, warehouse, or construction setting.
• Ability to work long shifts, including nights and weekends, during load-in and strike windows.
• Reliable transportation to the venue.
• Passport strongly preferred (required for Mexico City priority placement).

About the role

SEM is hiring a K12 Operator to support load-in, event, and strike operations for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. This role operates lift equipment (forklift/scissor lift) to move furniture and large items from ground level to upper levels during setup and teardown.

Priority consideration

Candidates who hold a valid passport and are available to also travel to Mexico City, Mexico for the Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix load-in crew (approx. October 21-November 3) will be given priority. SEM covers flight and lodging for this assignment.
