Job summary

Supports management by providing guidance and training to inventory control associates.**Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities*** Coaches and trains inventory control associates on inventory and count procedures.* Coordinates and prioritizes inventory control work to ensure tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.* Records and reports all inventory adjustments, pallet audits, and discrepancies on a weekly basis.* Reviews cycle counts and tracks discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.* Checks for product quality and communicates quality issues to vendors.* Determines the appropriate placement for inventory based on size, selling volume, and other applicable factors.* Assists with loading damaged merchandise into delivery vehicles using powered and non-powered material handling equipment.* Serves as back-up for all inventory and general warehouse functions.**Nature and Scope*** Problems are typically difficult and/or high impact.
