Job summary

rapportintl is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation in the Omaha, Nebraska area. This is a PRN, part-time, independent contractor role requiring transportation to attend local appointments. Interpreters must be fully bilingual with strong communication skills and familiarity with medical terminology.

• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) with some availability M-F 7AM-5PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for local Nebraska clients.

Requirements:

• Fully bilingual

• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.

Please note, this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken and client needs.
