Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Career Coach for a full-time, on-site role at one of its campuses. You will run daily motivation sessions for K-8 students and lead 1-hour life-skills workshops using Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive systems.

You will read analytics, push students to 100% of weekly app goals, administer mastery checks, and adapt sessions to reach every child while maintaining high standards and a supportive presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with K-8 students in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or related youth work preferred.
• Strong motivational coaching and communication skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Run 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions to push students to 100% of weekly goals.
• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 on public speaking, focus, and feedback.
• Administer Test2Pass mastery assessments and re-coach until passed.
• Adapt workshop playbooks to reach a wide age range from kindergartener to 8th grade.
• Be an approachable, standards-driven mentor who students choose to talk with.
