Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching requirements and coursework to obtain the appropriate Illinois teaching certificate.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) endorsed for this position.

Responsibilities

• Plan instruction with written lesson plans aligned to instructional objectives and program goals.
• Evaluate pupil progress and maintain current and accurate pupil records.
• Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with the Uniform Discipline Code and school policies.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress, attendance, and behavior.
• Participate in in-service meetings and professional staff meetings and engage in after-school activities as needed.
