Job summary

Queen's Grant Community School in Mint Hill, NC (part of National Heritage Academies) is seeking a Title I paraprofessional to support reading, writing and mathematics.

You will assist in 1:1 or small-group tasks, help students grow academically and socially, and participate in professional development with teachers and parents.

Located in a well-established K–8 program, the role emphasizes building a safe, engaged learning environment and strong collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements for Title I paraprofessional.
• Previous experience in a school or with school-age children preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to assist in reading, writing, and/or mathematics.
• Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance in 1:1 or group settings.
• Commit to educating the whole student – academically, morally, and socially.
• Implement result-driven curriculum to achieve growth from fall to spring testing.
• Attend professional development and articulation meetings with teachers and parents.
