Job summary

Constellation Schools, part of ACCEL Schools, is seeking an Intervention Specialist in Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on delivering differentiated instruction, maintaining progress records, and applying research-based practices to support student learning and social-emotional development.

You will collaborate with colleagues, communicate with families, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture in an urban setting.

Qualifications

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Comfort in growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience in urban education environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction
• Manage student behavior in the classroom
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Perform other duties as assigned
