Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and valid teaching credential where applicable.
• Illinois State Board of Education license or enrollment in a teacher certification program within 30 days.
• Content Area Endorsement.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and cloud-based software; ability to learn new tools.
• Travel for training and collaboration as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned to grade-level standards using the core curriculum.
• Maintain strong routines and classroom management to maximize learning.
• Assess student progress and use data to inform instructional adjustments.
• Communicate regularly with students and families about progress.
• Engage in professional development and collaborative planning.
