Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Art, Art Education, or related field required.
• Massachusetts Visual Arts license or eligibility preferred.
• MTEL examinations completed within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-based visual arts instruction to K–8 students.
• Implement the visual arts curriculum aligned with Core Knowledge Sequence.
• Plan lessons with clear objectives to develop techniques and appreciation.
• Assess student progress through projects and portfolios.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to support interdisciplinary learning.
