Job summary

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a Grades K-8 Music Teacher to lead and implement the school's music program, aligned with the Core Knowledge curriculum. The ideal candidate will foster musical literacy, vocal and instrumental performance, creativity, and disciplined practice.

This is a full-time, school-year position in Malden, MA, with opportunities to collaborate with fellow specials teachers and participate in staff development and school events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education.

• MTEL examinations completed within one year of employment.

• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and other required activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration.
