Job summary

Lakes Country Service Cooperative is seeking a Paraprofessional to join Lakes Country Academy (LCA) in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. You will support K–6 students in their learning, social, and emotional development within a calm, structured environment designed to meet academic and behavioral needs. Typical hours are 8:15 a.m.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One of: 60+ college credits; Completed associate degree; Passing score on Paraeducator/ParaPro exam (can be completed after hire within 30 days)

Responsibilities

• Support K–6 students in learning, social, and emotional development
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assist with classroom instruction and behavioral support
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive environment
• Receive on-the-job training and ongoing support
