Job summary

Lakes Country Service Cooperative is seeking a Paraprofessional for Lakes Country Academy in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. You will support K–6 students in a calm, structured setting and help implement IEPs while collaborating with teachers and families.

The role offers 6.75 hours per day, 180 days per year, with a pay range of $20.60–$26.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One of: 60+ college credits, completed associate degree, or passing ParaPro exam (after hire within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Support K–6 students in learning, social, and emotional development.
• Help implement IEPs.
• Assist with classroom instruction and behavioral support.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive environment.
• Receive on-the-job training and ongoing support.
