Job summary

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy seeks a Part-Time Physical Education Teacher for preschool through sixth grade at the Armleder campus. The teacher will foster a love of movement, teamwork, and healthy living while integrating Christian values into daily lessons.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate PE, promoting safety, assessing progress, coordinating fitness events, and emphasizing Christ-centered character in an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, or a related field.
• Teaching certification/licensure required.
• Experience teaching PE to elementary-aged students.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Committed Christian with the ability to integrate faith into teaching.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to foster a Christ-centered learning environment.
• Comfortable in a denominationally diverse community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging PE lessons aligned with Learn, Lead, and Serve.
• Teach fundamental motor skills, movement patterns, and sportsmanship.
• Create an inclusive environment for students of all abilities.
• Integrate Biblical principles into lessons, modeling Christ-like character.
• Promote teamwork, cooperation, and respect among students.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support development.
• Organize and oversee fitness events, field days, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to support student growth.
• Maintain equipment and enforce safety rules to ensure a safe environment.
