Job summary

Boston Renaissance Charter Public School is seeking a dedicated ESL Teacher for grades K-6 to foster English literacy for English Language Learners. The role emphasizes collaboration with classroom teachers, data-informed instruction, and alignment with Massachusetts standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s preferred.
• ESL license and SEI endorsement required or in progress.
• Experience applying data from assessments to plan instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement activities promoting English literacy in K-6.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to tailor instruction for English Language Learners.
• Administer and use data from assessments to differentiate instruction.
• Support ELs through ESL/ELL meetings and progress monitoring.
• Attend grade level and professional development sessions.
