Job summary

Great Hearts Arlington Lower School seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant/Apprentice Teacher to join our life-long learning community. As a K-5 role, you support the lead teacher in implementing a rich Core Knowledge curriculum; a bachelor’s degree is not required for the TA track, and Apprentices learn by mentored practice with a Master Teacher.

You will collaborate with educators to support instruction, manage daily classroom activities, and participate in faculty meetings and school events.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• US work authorization is required.
• Criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance required.
• Some locations may require AA, 60 hours of college credit, or ParaPro exam.
