Job summary

Kreco is seeking a K-5 Swahili teacher to join its on-site program for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is a daytime, Monday–Friday teaching position offered as a 1099 independent contractor.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, reside in the United States, and can pass a background check. Daytime teaching with access to curriculum support and professional development is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
• Authorized to work in the United States and reside in the US.
• Daytime availability and willingness to teach on-site.
• Complete background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Swahili to K-5th grade students on-site.
• Maintain daytime teaching hours, Monday to Friday.

Kreco is a nationwide organization that specializes in PK-12 world language education. We support language learners of all kinds by connecting schools nationwide to teachers for Spanish, French, Italian, German, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, American Sign Language (ASL), and more. Currently, we have an on-site K-5th Grade Swahili Teacher opportunity available for the 2026-2027 school year. Compensation varies and depends on your teaching project, ranging from $400 to $1,100 weekly. Daytime availability is required. No night or weekend classes!
