Job summary

Destiny Christian Academy in Sacramento is seeking a K-5 Substitute Teacher’s Assistant to support teachers and the school office. You will assist with classroom needs, recess and cafeteria duties, and after-school supervision while helping with clerical tasks and Readers Workshop training.

Qualifications

• Able to supervise large groups of children.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks.
• Type 45 WPM.
• Knowledge of PCs and copiers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom needs and activities.
• Assist with recess and cafeteria supervision.
• Support the DEN supervision before and after school.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as photocopying and preparing projects.
