Job summary

Salem School District in New Hampshire is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our K-5 elementary team. The role involves identifying, assessing, and treating students with communication disorders, including language, speech, fluency, and voice, within a supportive, high-functioning district cohort.

You will provide direct therapy, lead comprehensive evaluations, implement AAC strategies, and collaborate with General Education and Related Services to generalize communication skills

Qualifications

• Valid NH License in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility.
• NHDOE Endorsement #0082 or eligibility.
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to students in K-5 aligned with IEP goals.
• Conduct initial and triennial speech-language evaluations.
• Support AAC devices selection, programming, and implementation.
• Collaborate with General Education, Special Education, and Related Services to generalize communication strategies.
• Participate in MTSS with pre-referral consultations and short-term interventions.
• Engage with district SLP cohort to standardize practices and share insights.
• Maintain documentation and Medicaid billing as applicable.
