Responsibilities

• Assess students to determine needs and develop individual teaching plans.
• Adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs and develop IEPs.
• Plan, organize, and assign activities aligned to each student’s abilities.
• Teach and mentor students individually and in groups; monitor progress and update IEPs as needed.
• Communicate progress with parents, teachers, counselors and administrators.
• Supervise and support teacher assistants.
