Job summary

Great Hearts Archway Phoenix is seeking a Substitute K-5 Specially Designed Instruction Teacher to support students under the supervision of a certified SPED teacher. You will deliver IEP-aligned instruction one-on-one or in small groups and help monitor progress and data collection.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and an Arizona Teaching Certificate (or approved alternative). Prior SPED experience is preferred, and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Arizona Teaching Certificate required.
• Substitute Certification or Special Education Certification required.
• 1 year of teaching experience in K-12; SPED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans aligned with individual IEP goals under supervision of a certified SPED teacher.
• Provide one-on-one or small group specially designed instruction in academics, behavior, or social-emotional areas based on IEP goals.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring of students’ IEP goals.
