Job summary

Kids Unlimited Academy is a seeking committed, enthusiastic K-5 School Support Staff (IA) to contribute to our educational community in Medford, Oregon. The successful candidate will follow teacher plans, support small groups, and foster a positive learning environment in alignment with KUA standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Follow teacher created plans to support or lead small group instruction.
• Familiarize yourself with and actively use engagement strategies throughout instructional support.
• Support the implementation of small group interventions within the classroom.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist teachers in assessing student progress and collecting data.
• Embrace coaching and feedback.
• Consistently demonstrate and be a model of the KUA standards for our students.
• Participate in observations and reflections throughout the school year.
• Support the units of study in all classes as needed.
• Believe in a culture of 'our students' vs 'my class'.
• Work closely with teachers and fellow IAs to promote collaboration.
• Attend and actively contribute to IA meetings and professional development.
• Come to work ready to work and adhere to the Master Schedule.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability in attending meetings and duties.
• Uphold professionalism in interactions with students, colleagues, and parents.
