Job summary

Kennedy Elementary School in Medford, Oregon is seeking an Educational Support Staff member for a 5.75-hour/day position to begin immediately. This role supports teachers, supervises students across the school, and provides clerical assistance per district policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent and/or 1–2 years related experience.
• Fluent in English; Spanish helpful.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise students and assist in instructional activities.
• Computer literacy including basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in the instructional setting.
• Assist students and teachers with literacy activities and math interventions.
• Prepare assignments and organize student work binders.
• Deliver Early Reading and/or Math Intervention curriculum to small groups.
• Read to students in one-on-one or small groups; assess and report progress.
• Supervise student safety in classrooms, cafeteria, buses, field trips, hallways.
