Responsibilities

• Follow defined lesson plans set forth by classroom teacher.
• Provide an impromptu lesson plan or activity in the absence of teacher-provided lesson plan.
• Assist students with coursework and communicate assignment expectations.
• Adapt instructional approach to individual student needs.
• Provide a safe learning environment and effective classroom management.
• Collaborate with other instructional staff as needed.
• Cover additional duties during planning periods, lunch, or supervision.
• Assist with school-wide assessments if necessary.
