Job summary

Studyville is hiring Part-Time intervention Tutors to join our High Dosage Tutoring (HDT) Program, working with small groups of K–5 students during the school day on essential literacy and/or math skills. Tutors use Studyville's provided curriculum — no lesson planning required — to help students close learning gaps and reach grade level.

This role's core functions include: delivering instruction, tracking attendance and progress, and serving as a positive school-community presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience teaching or tutoring in a professional setting.
• Ability to work with K–5 students in small groups.
• Reliable transportation to assigned schools.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and fingerprinting as required by Louisiana state law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver literacy and/or math instruction to small groups of K–5 students.
• Use the provided curriculum with no lesson planning; track attendance and daily progress.
• Be a reliable, positive presence in the school community.
• Record attendance and daily student progress in StudyTrack; communicate updates to the HDT Program Coordinator.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student goals.
