Job summary

Generation Ready, Inc. seeks experienced K–5 education coaches to advance literacy instruction across NYC metro schools. You will model lessons, analyze data, and help teachers implement foundational literacy practices based on the Science of Reading.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in education, urban schooling experience, and the ability to collaborate with districts and school leaders to strengthen Tier 1 instruction and MTSS. This on-site role emphasizes partnership and capacity-building.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of education experience required.
• Experience implementing MTSS in urban schools.
• Experience delivering evidence-based literacy instruction.
• Familiarity with literacy curricula such as Expeditionary Learning, Wit & Wisdom, and HMH Into Reading.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with district, school, and department leaders to develop customized professional learning plans.
• Engage in side-by-side coaching and lesson modeling to提升 instructional practice.
• Lead teachers in reflective practices, data analysis, and examination of student work to improve pedagogy.
• Support school leaders in adapting frameworks and communication for collaboration and student success.
• Foster strong relationships with partners to ensure clear communication and real-time feedback.
