Job summary

Generation Ready, Inc. is seeking experienced Education Coaches to advance literacy learning for grades 6-12 in the NYC metropolitan area.

Coaches will model best practices, analyze instructional data, and tailor professional learning plans with district and school partners. Ideal candidates bring MTSS expertise, experience with screeners (MAP, i-Ready, Renaissance), and knowledge of structured literacy and phonics-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years education experience including teaching, leadership, coaching and/or program development.
• Experience with MTSS systems and structures and using data to inform instruction.
• Familiarity with literacy programs and high-quality instructional materials.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with district/school stakeholders to develop a customized professional learning plan.
• Engage in side-by-side coaching and lesson modeling to build capacity for standards-based instruction.
• Lead teachers in reflective practices, data analysis, and examination of student work.
• Support school leaders in adapting frameworks and communications to foster collaboration.
• Build strong partnerships to ensure effective communication and real-time feedback.
