Job summary

Regional School Unit #3 in Maine is seeking a part-time Educational Technician III – Library Technician to join Monroe Elementary and Troy Central Schools. Qualifications

• Ed Tech III Certification and CHRC required or ability to obtain upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly library classes for students in grades K–5, focusing on literacy, digital citizenship, and library skills
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support literacy and curriculum goals
• Circulate and shelve library materials; maintain an organized, welcoming, and inclusive library environment
• Manage inventory and cataloguing of books and resources using library management software
• Assist students in selecting appropriate reading materials
• Promote reading through displays, book talks, and school-wide events
• Maintain library equipment and troubleshoot basic tech issues as needed
