Nobleboro Central School is seeking a dynamic and organized Educational Technician III to serve as our Library Technician. This full-time position involves working with K–8 students to foster a love of reading and lifelong learning, as well as maintaining the daily operations of the school library.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead weekly library classes for students in grades K–8, focusing on literacy, digital citizenship, library skills, and research;


• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support literacy and curriculum goals;


• Circulate and shelve library materials; maintain an organized, welcoming, and inclusive library environment;


• Manage inventory and cataloging of books and resources using library management software;


• Assist students in selecting appropriate reading materials;


• Promote reading through displays, book talks, and school-wide events, and


• Maintain library equipment and troubleshoot basic tech issues as needed.
