Qualifications

• Experience planning a course of study according to curricular guidelines.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for multiple levels of ability.
• Uses MAP assessments for diagnostics and small group instruction.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in promoting and upholding Islamic ideals and school policies.
• Imparts instruction for Elementary grades (K-5) with strong content knowledge.
• Develops yearly plans during orientation and collaborates with Co-Teachers.
• Develops and presents lesson plans using various techniques and resources; submits weekly plans.
• Monitors, assists, corrects, and grades student results; uses MAP assessments for instruction.
• Maintains order in the classroom by counseling students and follows safety regulations.
• Keeps parents informed by maintaining records of academic performance and reporting at conferences.
• Updates job knowledge by attending faculty meetings and completing assigned coursework.
