Job summary

Catapult Learning, a national educational solutions provider, is seeking a part-time Math and Reading Intervention Teacher for Osceola County, FL. The role involves small-group instruction (K-5) at two campuses with a pay rate of USD 27.0 per hour.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher and a valid FL Teaching Certificate, plus classroom or tutoring experience. You’ll deliver Math and Reading/ELA using our curriculum and maintain records and parent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
• Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students using company materials.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans using curriculum.
• Ensure supervision of students and safety during routes to classrooms.
• Perform data entry for attendance, testing, progress reports, and communications.
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student forms and files per regulations.
• Communicate with supervisors, teachers, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet student needs and track progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
