Job summary

Global Educational Excellence (GEE) seeks a K–5 Instructional Coach to partner with elementary teachers across its Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti campuses. The role focuses on co-planning, modeling, observation, data analysis, and targeted professional development.

You will work with campus leaders to strengthen instruction, analyze student data to set priorities, and support curriculum fidelity. A Michigan elementary endorsement and five years of teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with elementary endorsement.
• Minimum of five years of successful elementary teaching experience.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Coach teachers one-on-one and in small groups through planning, modeling, co-teaching, and observation cycles.
• Analyze assessment data with the principal and data team to identify instructional priorities.
• Introduce and support implementation of research-based instructional strategies and curriculum fidelity.
• Build teacher capacity to use assessment tools and address individual student needs.
• Collaborate with the principal to develop and facilitate targeted professional development.
• Meet regularly with other instructional coaches to align practices across GEE campuses.

Location: Central Academy, Pittsfield Acres Academy and Global Tech Academy — Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, MI | Local travel between campuses required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Work environment includes elevated noise levels.
